A Birthday Giveaway

Today is my birthday and I'm so happy to be celebrating with all of you! I'd love to share a birthday gift with you, so I'm giving away one of my favorite crafting goodies...

You guessed it... Ribbon! (sorry this photo isn't so fabulous... I had such a difficult time photographing this!)

One lucky reader will win 20+ yards of my favorite ribbons and trims, which includes current, retired and brand new Stampin' Up! ribbons!

The prize package includes 1 yard each of the following ribbons:
Baja Breeze 1" Double-Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Basic Gray 1 1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Chocolate Chip 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon
Crumb Cake 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon
Daffodil Delight 5/8" Satin Ribbon
Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon
Night of Navy 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
Pink Pirouette 1 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon
Pretty in Pink 1/2" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Rich Razzleberry 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon
Riding Hood Red 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon
Rose Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
So Saffron 7/8" Poly-Twill Ribbon
Very Vanilla 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Whisper White 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Blue 3/8" Denim Jean Ribbon
Victoria 5/8" Crochet Trim
Early Espresso & White Baker's Twine
Linen Thread
...and more!

For a chance to win, become a follower and/or subscriber (if you aren't already), comment below telling me what your favorite ribbon is and watch the prize package grow ! (Your favorite ribbon does not have to be Stampin' Up! product, nor does it need to be included in this prize package).

I'll go first! This is really hard, but I think my favorite ribbon is Stampin' Up!'s Crumb Cake (formerly Kraft) Taffeta Ribbon. When the Kraft ribbon retired, I bought 3 spools of it just to make sure I wouldn't run out! I am so happy to see it back in the Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog! :)

Now let's sweeten the deal a bit, shall we? You know... add some icing to the cake...? For every comment entered, if I have your ribbon on hand, I'll add a yard of it to the prize package! For example, if you say Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon is your favorite (it's a close second for me) and I have it (which you know I do...) I'll add it in! Of course not all birthday wishes can come true, so this is limited to what I have in my stash, but don't worry, I have a LOT of ribbon! This means this prize package could get mega big! Woo!

So comment away! Please only one comment per person. You'll have until the end of the day on Friday, July 29th. One lucky winner will be announced next Saturday. Good luck! I can't wait to hear about your favorite ribbons!

  1. I love Satin ribbon the most because thats easily available. I really want to try Seam binding as it looks magical and we dont get it here. Thanks for giving a chance to win all these amazing ribbons. That white lace looks pretty and delicate too.

  10. Happy Birthday to You! (Sing along with me here...) I love all ribbon, and in the "ribbon" department I'd probably have to say any of the grosgrain ribbons are my favorites. But - strange as it may sound, I love the linen thread! You can dress it up or down, wrap it around cardstock, stick it into buttons, make bows with it - lots of variety in the linen thread. Thanks for offering a present on YOUR birthday! (P.S. - I don't know what a URL is, so I guess my name is "Anonymous!"

  12. Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birtday to you! Happy Birthday Dear Nina Dee - Happy Birthday to YOU!!!!!! And many more! Anyway, my favorite SU ribbon would be Victoria crocheted trim but I just saw my black ribbon with the little candy corns on it that I made cute cards with last year. I bought it at Walmart on sale. Then, I just put it in the box with my St. Patty's Day ribbon (my birthday) and so I am loving those with the shamrocks on them! What can I say? :)

  13. Happy Birthday! I am kind of new to using ribbon with my paper crafts. I think I am partial to grosgrain ribbons. I think bow making is easiest with 3/8 inch ribbons.
