Here's the challenge inspiration board:
And here are the DEEtails:
1. I had a tough time finding the right colors that would go with the inspiration photos. I chose to go with Stampin' Up's Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip, Paper Source's Chartreuse, and Papertrey Ink's Terracotta.
2. I loved the viney image in the top right corner and wanted to use it for the background of my card. I started out with a piece of Naturals White card stock. I ran my Bermuda Bay, Chocolate Chip, and Chartreuse card stocks through my Cricut machine, with the Songbird cartridge, and selected several flower images in different sizes. I cut the leaves off of the flowers and adhered them onto my card stock to create the a viney look. Then I added a Chocolate Chip mat to my background.
3. I stamped a sentiment from my PTI Signature Greetings set onto Bermuda Bay card stock and trimmed it down. I cut a piece of PTI Terracotta card stock to mat my sentiment and rounded the corners. I adhered it to my background.
4. I added some brown ruffle ribbon to my card. I love this ribbon and really wanted it to stand out, so I overlapped two pieces of ribbon onto the card using some Sticky Strip.
5. For my final touch, I punched some flowers, using my Martha Stewart Cosmo punch with PTI Terracotta paper. I layered two together and punched the centers to add some brads from my stash. I adhered them to my card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered one of the flowers using Sticky Strip, which helped to make the 3 flowers pop at different heights.
