Cupcake Inspirations Theme Challenge

Hello lovelies! Today I'm here with a fun challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations

DEEtails:
These adorable woodland critters were just released at Fresh Brewed and I was super excited to play along with the cute little squirrel! I printed her on some Chevron card stock and added her among some tiny blossoms and greenery punched from the Itty Bitty Punches and Bird Punch. The background is Coredinations card stock that I ran through the woodgrain embossing plate and sanded a bit. I was a little rough with it and it started falling apart, so I just went with it and added some more distressing. Haha. I tucked a bit of Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon and am in love with how this turned out. What do you think?

Don't forget to stop over to check out what the other Sweeties have cooked up for this week's Cupcake Inspirations challenge. Then bring out your favorite woodland critter stamps and join in on the fun! We can't wait to see what you create!

Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge

Happy Thursday friends! Today, I'm here with a card for September's first Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. As usual, our sketch is created by our fabulous Resident Artist, Margaret Moody.

DEEtails:

I took the sketch and stretched it into a rectangular card in Baked Brown Sugar with some pretty polka dotted DSP in Crisp Cantaloupe. I cut out some chevron stripes from some Baked Brown Sugar DSP and added a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. Then I added some Fine Feathers, embossed in White and  a round sentiment from Chalk Talk. Pretty simple, right? Hope you like it!

Don't forget to stop by and check out the creations from the rest of the Pals Paper Arts Resident Artists! You'll be sure to be inspired!

Stampin' Celebration Sketch Challenge

Hello friends! There's some mid-month inspiration over at Stampin' Celebration today with this fun new sketch. You can play along with the colorful inspiration that we shared at the beginning of the month or use the sketch below. I opted to turn the sketch on its side and create a card with it.

DEEtails:
I started with some Basic Gray card stock and embossed a piece with the lovely Woodgrain embossing folder. Then I punched out some hexagons using some pretty stamped backgrounds from Oh, Hello and Beyond Plaid, along with some DSP from Eastern Elegance. I added a few small hexagons, cutting out some pieces of Crushed Curry embossed with the Honeycomb embossing folder. Then I embellished a few butterflies, using my punches on Going Gray DSP and adding some Rhinestone Jewels. Finally, I a banner stamped with  the sentiment from Four You. What do you think?

Now, be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Stampin' Celebration design team to check out their wonderful creations. We'd love for you to join us this month, using either the inspiration images from the beginning of the month or our mid-month sketch. Can't wait to see what you make!

Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge

Oh my! I can't believe that September is here already! School has started for us and our open house was earlier this week. Today I have a card featuring a fun fall color combination for this week's Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge.

Here are the DEEtails:

I started with strips of card stock in Midnight Muse, Not Quite Navy, and Soft Sky in various sizes and adhered them in a bold chevron pattern onto some card stock. Then I matted it onto a Midnight Muse card. A few quick embellishments and I was done - Some Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon, layered with the sentiment from For You, a Crushed Curry flower stamped from the Secret Garden set with some Early Espresso Stitched Grosgrain ribbon tucked underneath. I hope you like it.

Don't forget to stop by Pals Paper Arts to check out what the rest of our fabulous Resident Artists have created this week. Then pull out these fun fall colors and create something to link up and share with us!
