Color Cue Challenge
The color combination from the Color Cue Challenge is so pretty and calming.
Here are the DEEtails:
1. I wanted to make a card that was simple and just let the colors speak, while having a pretty and calming feeling. I love the flourish from my Kind Thoughts stamp set, so I started off with inking the image in Night of Navy onto Barely Banana card stock. It makes such a statement!
2. I added some Night of Navy card stock to the bottom portion of my card, then mounted my stamped image onto Bashful Blue card stock.
3. I love a little Bashful Blue satin bow, so I added it as a divider, then tied a bow to the side.
4. Then I stamped my flourish several times onto some scraps of Barely Banana card stock. I punch several circles out of the stamped card stock to make my flowers. I distressed the edges, ran the edges in Night of Navy card stock, then crumpled my circles. I punched a simple silver brad in the center of each flower, then adhered them to my ribbon divider.
5. Finally, I adhered everything to my Night of Navy card. Voila!
