You Make Me Smile
Hello friends! Here's my card for this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. Aren't these Jelly Bean and Candy covered inspiration cupcakes adorable?!
Here are the DEEtails:
This card was super simple to make with just a couple of flower punches, brads, some DSP, card stock, and a sentiment stamp. I started by layering some Berry Blossoms DSP on my Lucky Limeade card. Then I took a second piece of Lucky Limeade card stock and punched the Blossom punch to make a sort of peep hole for the DSP to show through. I punched some additional blooms, using the Blossom and Boho Blossoms punches in Wisteria Wonder and Calypso Coral. I added some tiny white brads to the centers of my flowers. Then I stamped my sentiment from PTI's Signature Greetings. Hope you like it!
Don't forget to play along with this month's I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge. It's a great time to bring out your printed ribbon and create something fun!

Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge
Another fabulous Pals Paper Arts Challenge starts today! Hooray! Margaret Moody always creates the best sketches... Check out her sketch for the challenge below.
I was in the mood for some bright yellow blooms, and came up with this unexpected color combination - not too springy, but still very cheerful... I used some polka dot DSP in Soft Suede, layered onto a Cherry Cobbler card and stamped the image from Upsy Daisy in Daffodil Delight. I matted my image with some Soft Suede and adhered it to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from SU!'s Upsy Daisy onto some Daffodil Delight card stock and punched a hole on the tag. I added some linen thread and tied up my card. Hope you like it!
I'd love to see you play along with our challenge! You'll have the rest of March to play along with Margaret's sketch. Feel free to use any brand of product you like and link up to Pals Paper Arts! Have fun! :)

Should you hop off course, simply click on any of the links in the Pals Hop Line-up below and you'll be back on track.
Today I'm sharing a simple spring card that I made using some of my favorite dies. I am in love with chevron stripes, which is an easy look to accomplish with the rickrack die from Stampin' Up!'s Tasteful Trim. I die cut several strips and adhered them to my Whisper White card. Then I created a simple flower using the Floral Fusion die and a brad. I tucked a little leaf underneath, made with the Bird punch. Then I stamped the sentiment from SU!'s Season of Friendship onto some Vellum paper to tuck beneath my flower. Love it!

Another Baby Card
I mentioned two expecting mommies in my post on Friday, so I'm back to share my other baby card. This one is for my friend Jen who is expecting her first!
I decided to go with a little lion theme and got baby this cute Taggies toy and made a card to match.
DEEtails:
I wanted to create a baby onesie card for Jen. I added some polka dot DSP in Daffodil Delight and trimmed it with a scalloped edge in Lucky Limeade. I added some silver brads at the bottom for snaps. The center is stamped with the lion image from SU!'s Fox and Friends. Too cute. I love the fact that our school mascot is the Lions and our colors are green and gold, so the present and card match our school. I'm kind of nerdy like that. :)
Thanks for peeking in today!

So Lucky
I was in the mood for polka dots, so I paper pieced a polka dotted bear from Stamp Fairy, using some Soft Suede DSP, with some shamrocks in different shades of green (Garden Green, Old Olive, and Kiwi Kiss). Then I typed out the sentiment (I used the fonts Segoe Print and CK Stylish) and adhered it to my card with some Stampin' Dimmensionals. I love how that bear pops on that Summer Sun card.
Hope you'll play along with us over at Cupcake Inspirations! And don't forget to play along with my I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge too!

A Baby Card for Amy
My friend Amy is expecting her second girl. I bought her this cute stroller toy and made a fun card to match. I love the unexpected color combination and fun patterns. Not to mention the baby lamb is adorable. :)
Here are the DEEtails:
I started with some Pool Party card stock and stamped a fun flower image from SU!'s Mixed Bunch randomly in Early Espresso. Then I layered it onto some Regal Rose card stock and added a strip of Tangerine Tango Polka Dot Scallop ribbon. Then I got to work creating my little lamb. I used various punches to create this little guy. Then I used my Cricut and the cute Cindy Loo cartridge to die cut some letters and scattered some Itty Bitty flowers around the card. Hope you like it!
Have you played along with my I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge yet? This month's challenge is printed ribbon and this polka dot ribbon is perfect for the challenge!

Happy *Spring* Thoughts
Wow! I still can't believe it's March! Yikes how the year is flying by! Before we know it, spring will be here! Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Cupcake Inspirations Challenge. These little ducky pastries are almost too cute to eat! :)
Our sponsor this week is Prairie Fairy, and I was excited to use this adorable duck image for my card. I printed it out and colored it in, using my Stampin' Write Markers. I stamped the sentiment from SU!'s Apple Blossoms and cut the Whisper White card stock to wrap around my Blushing Bride card (although you can't tell from the photo). Then I cut out my ducky and adhered her to my card. So cute!
Don't forget, there's a brand new I {Heart} Ribbon challenge! I hope you'll play along! :)

Then I punched a Lucky Limeade tag and die cut some Island Indigo flowers, pulled together with a silver brad. I added some Island Indigo Baker's Twine and tucked in a sentiment from SU!'s You're My Type to finish things off. Hope you like it!
