Very Merry Christmas

Are you ready for my first Christmas card of the year?! I love finding a new challenge and boy have I found a fabulous one! CR84FN from Cupcake's Creations by Mona Pendleton has a gorgeous inspiartion for the 2nd challenge!

DEEtails:

I love the branch with ornaments on the left and decided to base my card on this image. I started out by stamping the tree image from the Branch Out set in Crumb Cake ink on Naturals White card stock. Then I made little ornaments using the circle from the Itty Bitty Shapes punches and the Owl punch in Taken with Teal, Baja Breeze, and Going Gray. I layered the circles and added some rhinestone jewels. Then I took wome white DMC floss and some glue dots to add a loop to my ornaments to hang them on the tree. I added a Taken with Teal mat and adhered it to some Baja Breeze card stock. Then I stamped the image from the Punches Three set withg Basic Gray ink on both Going Gray and Taken with Teal card stock. I punched each layer with the Scallop Square punch, then cut out the sentiment portion and layered the pieces together. I punched a small hole with my 1/8" hole punch and threaded some Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon through the holes and added a knot to one side and a bow to the other.

Thanks for stopping by today!
