Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration - Confetti Inspiration Day 2

Hi there!! Today is day two of the fabulous CONFETTI Inspiration Challenge for our Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration! (Don't forget, there's still lots of time to play with the SPARKLE Inspiration Challenge and the COLOR Inspiration Challenge!)

My confetti card today showcases Bugaboo Digi Stamps and products from Winnie & Walter and Your Next Stamp. (Sponsor product is linked at the bottom)

DEEtails:

I really wanted to try out a shaker card for this challenge and played around with the idea of balloon shakers. I originally used the Stampin' Up! Balloon die, but it was just too big! Instead, I opted for this smaller balloon trick - a circle punch paired with the end of the tassel die from the Balloon die set. I punched my shaker balloon first, then die cut the hole part. I added a piece of transparency paper and after I sealed the surrounding edges of my balloon with some foam tape, I backed my card with a bunch of Stampin' Dimensionals. I filled my shaker with some lovely Pretty Pink Posh Silver Confetti that I ordered from Winnie & Walter, then backed my card front with some Whisper White cardstock. My little elephant is the cutie, Peaches, from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I had a time coloring her, so I opted to print her out on some patterned paper instead. I love these chevron stripes from I Am Me. You probably can't see it, but I also added some glitter using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush Pen, which I told you I'd use on everything! The Peaches stamp actually had three balloons, so I cut them all off and added some Pool Party Baker's Twine to cover the string lines and add an extra balloon. I added more balloons using my circle punch and tassel die method with some Silver Glimmer Paper, Silver Foil Sheets, and White Vellum Cardstock. (Obviously, we don't do ordinary cardstock balloons around here. Haha) My Vellum balloon sports a fun sentiment from Up, Up & Away that I stamped in Silver Metallic Encore Ink and embossed with clear powder. Then I added a few Baker's Twine bows to tie on my balloons. I matted my shaker card front to some Silver Foil Paper, which really makes it look extra special and adhered it to a Soft Sky card. What do you think?

Come celebrate with us over at Cupcake Inspirations and play along in all of our fun challenges this week! You'll have until March 14th to play along!
