Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration - We're Still Celebrating!

Hello there! Today the Sweeties at Cupcake Inspirations are all sharing another card for one of the 300th Challenge Celebration Inspirations.  I'm playing with the CONFETTI Inspiration again, but don't forget, you can also play along with  the SPARKLE Inspiration or the COLOR Inspiration.

I happened across these fun Polaroid-style shapes from the Hello Life Project Kit from Stampin' Up! and thought one would make a fun shaker on a birthday card. I decided to add this scattered star image from one of MyGrafico's digi stamp sets as a background for my Polaroid shaker, which I colored in with some Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blendabilities. I added a piece of transparency paper to the back of the Polaroid cutout and lined the edge with some strips of foam adhesive. Then I sprinkled gold and silver confetti, purchased from Winnie & Walter, inside. Then I attached the starry background. I mounted my Polaroid onto a Melon Mambo card that I covered with some Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper and a strip of Silver Foil Paper. I added a few die cut streamers from Winnie & Walter's The Party Confetti Cutaways. These streamers are so much fun! The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Oh Happy Day set. I absolutely love this font! Isn't it gorgeous!? I initially had planned to stamp a sentiment right on the Polaroid, but this particular sentiment was just a little too long, so I stamped it on some White Vellum Cardstock in VersaMark ink and embossed it in white instead. I added a few Black Licorice Glittered Gumdrops for the finishing touch. Hope you like it!
