Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration - Sparkle Inspiration Day 2

Happy Monday! Today is day two of our amazing 300th Challenge Celebration over at Cupcake Inspirations! We're starting off the party with this amazing SPARKLE Inspiration.

My Sparkle card for today is a much more subtle sparkle. I'm showcasing A Day for Daisies and product from Your Next Stamp today. (Sponsor product is linked at the bottom)

DEEtails:

A Day for Daisies has been one of our sponsors for ages. They are always coming out with these gorgeous images. This Basset reminded me of my pup, Molly, and I fell in love immediately. I colored her with some Baked Brown Sugar and Basic Black (for her nose). So cute! I used Stampin' Blendabilities for the flowers - Daffodil Delight and Old Olive. I didn't do any blending here except on one little flower, but I like how the flowers all fall in the same color palette. I recently purchased this lovely Hello Script die from Mama Elephant and thought it would be perfect for this card. I decided to do a negative cut and allow for the card base to show through. This is the first time I've used Hello Honey and I'm kind of loving it! It reminds me a lot of Crushed Curry (which is actually what I planning to use for this card), but it is a much warmer, buttery color. I added a few fun wood butterfly embellishments from Studio Calico at the top as a finishing touch. So, where is this Sparkle, you ask? On the pretty flowers that this pup is carrying! I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, which, Hello! I am LOVING! I ordered this awesome tool from Your Next Stamp and now I want to add a wink of glitter to everything! I tried and tried and tried to capture it on camera, but it was soooo difficult. I'm sorry! I promise it's there, though!

  1. Oh Nina, this is so cute! Put a bunch of spots on his nose and it would be my Teddy! I can't believe he turned 9 months old last week! I have to have this stamp! I have never used digital stamps - so I think it is time to try one. That glitter brush sounds interesting. I am not big into glitter for the mess I usually make. Maybe this is the answer! This is a very cute card and love the coloring! Teddy is big on nibbling Mike's lilacs!
