Cupcake Inspirations 300th Challenge Celebration - Sparkle Inspiration

Hello dear friends! You're in for a treat this week because we're having a PAR-TAY over at Cupcake Inspirations to celebrate our 300th Challenge! YOWZA! What a big milestone!

Can you believe that I've been with Cupcakes since 2010? It's crazy how long it has been! I've loved being Sponsorship Coordinator and Creative Director (a name I creatively made up for myself - but hey! It's my job, right?! Haha) It really challenges me in a different way creatively and I've met so many great people along the way.

When the 300th challenge was coming along, I knew we would want to do something SPECTACULAR! So I came up with THREE fabulous inspiration images, rounded up THREE new Sweeties (more info to come next week...) and invited THIRTY fabulous sponsors (who are providing $600 worth of prizes -WOW!) who will be providing THREE huge-a-mongous prize packages for THREE super lucky winners! PICK ME! PICK ME! (just kidding!) I sure hope you have fun this week!

Are you excited yet?!? Check out our amazing lineup of sponsors for our celebration! Did I mention they are giving away $600 worth of prizes!?!

So let's begin, shall we? Our first Inspiration Challenge is SPARKLE! I'm loving today's cupcake. Isn't it so fabulous with the heart shaped sparkler on top? :)

And here's my Sparkle card! Today I'm showcasing four of our wonderful sponsors - DRS DesignsNewton's Nook DesignsPolkadoodles, and Sparkle N Sprinkle! (Sponsor product is linked at the bottom)

DEEtails:

I wanted to make the lovely WPlus9 die a glittery focal point for this card, so I started by diecutting some Silver Glimmer paper. This stuff is such a glittery mess, but it looks so fabulous! I used some Smoky Slate for the card base to offset the shimmer. I love this Polka Dot Background stamp from DRS Designs. It looks great when stamped in VersaMark ink, like I did here. What better way to make the sentiment a focal point than frame it, right? The Around the House stamp set from Newton's Nook is so fun (don't be surprised if you start seeing me framing everything on my cards! Haha!) I inked it up with some Chocolate Chip on white cardstock and carefully cut it out. I totally cheated because I knew my cute Polkadoodles bear would hide the bottom corner, so I cut from there. I love the little hanging ribbon stamp that goes with the frame and stamped it right on the card with VersaMark ink. Isn't Winston Bear a cutie-pie? I stippled him with some Creamy Caramel and Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Markers and colored in the heart with some Blushing Bride. I added a little more shimmer with some Silver Dreams Glitter from Sparkle N Sprinkle. Their glitter is super fine and fabulous! I'm honestly not a huge glitter fan because it makes such a mess, but their glitter is so fine it hardly makes a mess!

Now won't you come celebrate with us over at Cupcake Inspirations? And don't forget to come back every day this week for more 300th Celebration fun!
