So Kind

Today's spring card is for the current Color Cue challenge over at WPlus9 Design Studio.

DEEtails:

I started with a piece of Going Gray card stock, which I die cut with a PTI die and embossed with the PTI Woodgrain embossing plate. Then I created a Daffodil Delight Striped Grosgrain ribbon flower and tucked in some leaves, punched from the SU! bird punch. I stamped the sentiment from SU!'s Priceless set and tucked it under my flower. Then I added some cute felt butterflies from my stash. Enjoy!

Hope you'll join me in my I {Heart} Ribbon challenge! It includes a tutorial on how to make the ribbon flower from today's card! :)

  1. What a sweet little card this is!! I just love the fun details, like those adorable butterflies and the beautiful ribbon rose!! And I love the little bit of masculinity the woodgrain embossing adds to it...such a great touch!! Wonderful job with WPlus9's Color Cue #13! ♥♥♥

  2. What a beautiful, purely springtime creation! LOVE that gorgeous, ribbon flower and the way your butterflies look as though they just might float right off the top edge of your card! Thanks so much for playing along with this month's Color Cue!
