Rosy Little Bird

Today's challenge over at Pals Paper Arts is embossing. Here's my card for the challenge. I'm also linking up to The Paper Players Clean and Simple Sketch Challenge, where one of the Pals, Ann Schach is a Design Team Member!

I decided to try out my new Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!

Here are the DEEtails:

I embossed some Very Vanilla card stock and adhered it to a Rose Red card. Then I layered some pieces of Springtime Vintage DSP and matted it with more Rose Red. I wrapped some Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon around my DSP and attached some Wild Wasabi leaves punched from the bird punch. Then I stamped a little bird from SU!'s Punch Potpourri in VersaMark ink and embossed him. I punched him out and added a Rose Red wing. I added a little Ribbon Rosette to finish off my card.

Don't forget to join in on my I {Heart} Ribbon Challenge. You can even use pre-made ribbon flowers, like the Ribbon Rosette that I used on today's card!
