It's time for another sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts! As always, our sketches are created by our fabulously talented Resident Artist, Margaret Moody. Can I tell you, this card was so much fun to make! I mean, after I got over the initial frustration of what to do with what seemed like a really difficult sketch! Haha!
DEEtails:
I honestly had no idea what to do with these diagonals, until I looked over and saw my lovely new Washi Tape just begging to be used! Then the ideas came flooding to me! I started with covering a piece of Whisper White card stock with Gingham Garden Washi Tape, then matted it with some Crushed Curry card stock. Then I cut a piece of the matching DSP to fit behind a little "Polaroid frame" that I cut out of Whisper White card stock and adhered with dimensionals. I added the sentiment, stamping and die cutting the Itty Bitty Banner Thank You, using Night of Navy ink on Island Indigo card stock. Then I hand cut a little bouquet of flowers from the Gingham Garden DSP (I used the Island Indigo print and just cut along the white border on the flowers) and attached it to my "Polaroid." I matted everything with Whisper White cardstock to really make it pop against my Island Indigo card. Hope you like it!
Now, be sure to check out all the other lovely creations the Resident Artists have crafted for you over at Pals Paper Arts! Then get out your favorite crafty goodies and try out this fun sketch challenge! Have fun!
