Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is celebrating something big! Its our
200th Challenge - can you believe it?
I started playing along with
Cupcake Inspirations back in May of 2010 when I discovered Rachel Hope's blog and challenge. Each week, Rachel selected a yummy cupcake as inspiration for crafting. I was instantly hooked! Of course, I had to apply for their next design team call and I was thrilled to be selected and work alongside some of my favorite crafters. I've been on the design team since August 2010, and although I don't always have the ability to create a project for each weekly challenge, I love being a part of it all! We've had quite a bit of changes to our design team since 2010... In fact, I'm the only one still around since way back then... so today we have a real treat!
Today's celebration includes a Blog Hop and Challenge! Woohoo! I really wanted to showcase the Washi Tape on my card, so I kept it pretty simple... A Whisper White backdrop, some cute flags from Stampin' Up!'s Make a Cake set, a Washi Tape cake, and a cake stand made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and Large Oval punches and Basic Black card stock. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Scoops. I topped everything with a mini bunting made from Washi Tape - lots of fun! Then I matted my card with some Melon Mambo. What do you think?
