Thinking Of You
Today's card was inspired by the Off The Wall Craftiness challenge. I love these beautiful spring colors, don't you? I could have definitely taken this challenge in a more springy direction, especially with all the bird inspiration in the photo, but I had someone in mind for this card. My dear friend and secretary at our school, Joy, recently lost her brother and I wanted to create a sort of thinking of you/sympathy card, that was still light, airy, and springy. I think that the white space helped achieve the right look. DEEtails: I started with a simple white card, which I wrapped a ribbon from my stash around. I adhered a Martha Stewart doily and added a flower and button from my stash. I tucked a leaf, punched from my bird punch and added the sentiment from SU!'s Trendy Trees stamped on Blushing Bride card stock.
